Duck Go Win Terms and Conditions
 1. The Promoter (About Us)
Weâre Duck Go Win Ltd, a UK-based company (company number: [your number]) with our main office at Unit 1, Acorn Business Park, Moss Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN32 OLW.
Weâre a predominantly social media-based (Facebook) prize draw, but you can also see us âThe Promoterâ running the prize draws over at https://duckgowin.co.uk.
Our prize draws are open to residents of England and Scotland, and weâre the team responsible for organising each draw, making sure everythingâs fair, and guaranteeing that someone really does walk away with the prize.
2. Our Platforms
You can take part in our prize draws through our website at duckgowin.co.uk and via the Duck Go Win Facebook Page and Group â these are the places we run and promote our draws (weâll call them our âplatformsâ). Every time we run a draw, a portion of the net proceeds from selected prize draws will be donated to registered UK charities or non-profit causes, as stated on the relevant draw promotion. These donations are made voluntarily and are not linked to individual entries.
3 . The Terms and Conditions
3.1 These terms and conditions (weâll call them âTermsâ) explain how each prize draw works and what the rules are for entering.
3.2 Before taking part in any draw, please read through these Terms so you know exactly what youâre agreeing to.
3.3 Our Terms and Conditions may be updated occasionally, so itâs a good idea to check back here before entering a new draw. If we do make changes, weâll mention it on our website (and Facebook Page) and the updated Terms will apply from the date we post them.
3.4 By entering any of our prize draws, youâre confirming that youâve read and understood these Terms (and our Privacy Policy), and that you agree to follow them.
3.5 If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints about a draw, feel free to get in touch at competitions@duckgowin.co.uk or [phone number] â weâre always happy to help.
3.6 If you have trouble entering or need these Terms in a different format (like large print, audio, or braille), just contact us using the details above and weâll do our best to help

4.4.5 We believe someone is trying to cheat, manipulate, or unfairly affect the result.
4.5 We might ask for proof of your age, where you live, or that you meet the rules. If you canât provide that when asked, we may have to cancel your entry or withdraw a prize.

5.15 Only one draw will operate at a time for each competition.
5.16 Each draw will close when the countdown timer on the draw page reaches zero.
5.17 The prize for each draw will be clearly displayed on our website.
5.18 Unless stated otherwise, there will be one winner per draw.
5.19 You must enter the draw using your own account. Entries made on behalf of another person are not permitted.
5.20 Unless otherwise stated on the draw page, individuals may enter a draw up to a maximum of 10 times per draw. We reserve the right to disqualify entries that exceed this limit.
6 . The Draw
6.1 Every draw uses a random number generator (usually Googleâs, or a similar trusted tool) to pick the winning entry. The number thatâs randomly selected is the winner.
6.2 Unless we say otherwise on the website or on our Social Medias, each draw will have one winner.
6.3 Draws are streamed live on our Facebook page and may also be shown on other social media platforms we use.
6.4 Weâll try to contact the winner as soon as possible using the email and contact details provided on their account. Itâs your responsibility to make sure your contact info is correct and that our email hasnât landed in your spam or junk folder.
6.5 If we canât reach the winner within 5 days (or longer if we choose), or the winner doesnât reply or has broken the rules, they will lose the prize. In that case, weâll redraw and pick a new winner.
6.5.1 In the rare event of a technical failure, system error, or other issue affecting the fairness of a draw, we reserve the right to rerun the draw or take other reasonable remedial actions.
6.6 Before receiving a prize, the winner must provide two forms of ID, and one must include a photo. If valid ID isnât provided, the prize will be forfeited and redrawn.
6.7 Once the winner has been verified, weâll contact them to arrange free delivery of the prize within Great Britain, using the address on their account.
6.8 If the prize is cash, we aim to transfer the money to the winner within 30 days of the draw.
6.9 For non-cash prizes, weâll provide instructions on how to claim, book, or receive the prize.
6.10 Some prizes – especially custom-made ones – may be subject to availability and lead times.
6.11 Winners are responsible for any additional costs or expenses related to claiming or using the prize, unless weâve stated otherwise.
6.12 We arenât responsible for damage or loss caused by third-party delivery services, and weâre not required to replace lost or damaged prizes.
6.13 Any taxes or other charges that come from winning a prize are the winnerâs responsibility. We recommend seeking independent financial advice if youâre unsure.
6.14 Some prizes may have extra terms from the prize supplier or partner. These will also apply.
6.15 If we canât offer the original prize for any reason, we may:
6.15.1 Provide a similar alternative of equal or greater value, or
6.15.2 Offer a cash alternative.
6.16 Prizes are for the named winner only and canât be transferred to anyone else.
